I've searched high and low to find the most delicious soup recipes that are perfect for cooler weather. Once the leaves start to fall and the temperatures start to drop, it's time to put on a big pot of soup!
There's nothing better to warm up our bodies, and I love the way my house smells when soup is simmering on the stove.

A new Farmers Market opened finally close enough for me to go to Only 12 miles last Thursday I saw your recipes on Facebook & saved it immediately- picked this soup for my journey, got almost everything I needed at the organic veggies & fruits stand! So thrilled everything was perfect & a bit pricey but hey healthy counts right? Finished up list at grocery store beans, bacon etc.
Recipe printed off & today is the day!!! One of my neighbors is doing Chemo & both her & her husband love my soup, even though I live in the city I have a large garden with multiple waist high containers, winter is my soup garden!
One question please since butternut squash is hard to peal & dice do you have a suggestion please?Reply

Hi Fay! I think my strategy lately is wasteful, but I buy a large butternut squash and just use the bottom portion. It is such a pain to cut up the top portion. Which soup are you making? I'm making soup today, too. A new one. I'll share it soon! I can't wait to hear how yours turns out. I love soup!

I would have to agree, Sean! We don't get a lot of cold days here in Florida, but my husband is always thrilled to come home to a pot of soup and a loaf of crusty bread!
