Greek Lamb Chops

The lamb chop is dredged in flour and then pan-fried until lightly golden in color. Stir in your tomatoes, broth, vinegar, and seasoning, and simmer your lamb chops until they are cooked through. This meal gets so much flavor from the bone-in lamb chops and that sauce; each component gets better with each passing minute that it cooks gently on the stove, similar to my Lamb Stew recipe.

FAQs

What to serve with Greek lamb chops

We like to serve this simple Greek dish with rice, pasta, or couscous. It can also go well with any cooked green vegetables as a side dish. This dish can be served with any simple side dish or side dishes that you’d normally serve with red sauce and pasta.

How long are cooked lamb chops good for?

You can keep your leftovers stored in an airtight container for up to 3 or 4 days. Reheat again before serving and enjoy! I do not recommend eating lamb after 4 days as it does not keep as well as some other meats and has a much shorter shelflife.

Can you freeze cooked lamb chops?

You can! Wrap your chops up really well in foil or plastic wrap before storing them in an airtight container and freezing them for up to 3 months before thawing and reheating them to eat. This will give you plenty of time to enjoy these tasty chops and it makes meal planning even easier for future dinners. Talk about a win-win!
